Lockwood and Co is the hit Netflix young adult thriller starring Cameron Chapman as Anthony Lockwood, Ruby Stokes as Lucy Carlyle, and Ali Hadji-Heshmati as George Karim.
It’s set in an alternative England where ghosts roam the streets and children are used to help capture them. The series is being praised for its world-building and for managing the heavy exposition presented to the audience.

Why is Norrie White important in Lockwood and Co?
Norrie White is a fellow ghost hunter that is best friends with one of the main characters, Lucy Carlyle. When Lucy meets Norrie, the two quickly begin making plans with one another. Working for Agent Jacobs, they are sent to exorcise some ghosts from an abandoned factory called Wythburn Mill. Confident it is only a Type I ghost, the weakest type of ghost, Jacobs doesn’t take any steps to secure their safety.
Sensing the situation was more dangerous than it first appeared, Lucy asks to pull back and reassess, but Jacobs refuses. Unfortunately for the team, Lucy’s senses proved correct, and her whole team, including Norrie, is overtaken by ghosts. Norrie is immobilized and remains that way for the rest of the season. Lucy is the only survivor.
Lucy does visit Norrie periodically, and by the end of season one, she makes Norrie a cassette tape of her accomplishments for her friend.
Lily Newmark Movies and TV Shows (Known for)
Despite only being 28 years old, Newmark has appeared in several TV shows and films already. The biggest film she’s appeared in so far is the 2018 film Solo: A Star Wars Story, where she played Lexi, a scrumrat in the White Worms Gang on Corellia. This was only a tiny role though, as the story quickly moves away from the Gang.
She has a starring role in the 2017 film Pin Cushion, where she plays the character of Iona, the daughter of Lyn, as the pair move to a small Midlands town in the UK. Newmark has also had a recurring role in the hit Netflix series Sex Education as a lesbian encountering relationship problems.
Another place where audiences might have seen Newmark is in the TV show Emerald City. Here, she portrayed the character of Ryenne, a witch in the world of the Wizard of Oz.
