The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Episode 2 Recap
Mickey talks to Legal Siegal about his “hypothetical” but genuine dilemma. He explains that he can’t tell anyone because nobody would want to work with him even if he doesn’t get disbarred. However, he advises him he has a conflict of interest and must withdraw from representing the innocent client.
Detective Griggs is after interviewing Glory Days, and Lorna calls Mickey to say they finally found her, but it’s because she called after being busted with cocaine. During Mickey’s visit with her, she lets him know what happened, including saying she had four little baggies of cocaine, which Mickey is frustrated about because they will charge her with a felony. He gets some info from her and hopes to help her out.

Who is Hector Moreno?
Glory Days gave Mickey the name of Hector Moya, who paid for her services and gave her coke. Cisco did some digging and found out his real name is Hector Moreno. He is a major player in the Tijuana Cartel, suspected of killing three rival cartel members, but the charges never stuck.
Mickey heads to Maggie to talk to her about how he can possibly help her get her seat back at the table. He mentions how she can use the info from Glory Days to take down a Tijuana Cartel member. Of course, Maggie hesitates to help Glory Days after what she did to her, but Mickey pleads, saying it’s important to him. Later that day, she texts him and says they have a deal.
Who attacks Glory Days?
After getting out of prison, Glory Days is at home relaxing when the doorbell rings, and it is her food delivery. However, after getting it and coming inside, a man attacks her, and it’s Russell Lawson. She fends him off for a minute when the cops bust in the door and arrest him. Glory Days tell Detective Griggs that he is the man who tried to kill her before.
We get a flashback of Legal Siegal and Mickey’s conversation about the “hypothetical” situation he was dealing with and how he could potentially get away with it, from leaving an envelope on his desk for Russell to plant next to a file that states Glory Days is getting out of jail, to using Maggie to have SIS sitting outside her house and Cisco waiting outside if things went south.

Mickey delivers the news to Jesus Menendez, a file that his case has been dismissed with prejudice, meaning they can never retry it again.
